He looked down and met the most beautiful creature he'd ever laid eyes on. Copper-brown curls surrounding her little heart-shaped face. Thick, dark lashes rested against hot red cheeks. The eyes opened and he met violet, dark enough to look brown but not. His heart swelled with love almost automatically.

Her raven hair was pulled into a loose barrette and a piece lay brushed carelessly away from her face.
