Vault 97 was originally built in Blue Ridge Summit, Pennsylvania as a joint venture between the U.S. Government and VaultTech to be a second, miniature Pentagon outside of D.C. When the bombs dropped, however, VaultTech had other plans. Only 20 residents and 15 staff made it in, only one person made it out, and winter has arrived in full force.

All contact was lost when the last human army was encircled and destroyed in the arctic, no human contacts have ever been reported since the last army. Earth was officially lost as the last army protected the evacuation into space, many years have passed since then, and the likeliness of any human resistants on Earth have long since faded. Humanity struggled to adapt and survive on the distant planet of Mars in our solar system, the cold red deserts have challegened humanity beyond its capacity to live and yet humanity prevailed by all means. Fallout is based on what people in 1998 would think people in 1950 would imagine the world would be like in the 2070s, then nuked. Fallout is more about the people and communities that try to move forward after a nuclear devestation, those who thrive, and then those who are drifting off, and those who have hit such a bottom that they have no further to fall. Many communities will rise from the nuclear ash for most to fail. In this world, there are no good guys; there are no bad guys. Everyone is just trying to get by and survive. The story takes a first-person point of view from a character who is pushed out of her home and into an unknown world. This world is mostly under control by two main factions at war though; one being the self-proclaimed United States and the other being the self-proclaimed owners of the counter, the Enclave. This story has many ups and downs and level offs. It has frustrations, situations, shows emotion, and thinking of the main character. It will read dynamically in its speed and depth in specific details as this girl looks for a new home in the post-nuclear wasteland in the year of 2300.Complete

This is my take on those stories that have only one human male on a planet full of anthros. You know the ones, where a nuke, virus, or/and war that destroyed the human race except for one and for some unexplain reason ten years later furries rule the earth with a fully functioning government and technology. Oh, and sometimes this human has all the powers of comics and mange for also unexplained reason or another. With every character is spelled out on these bio picks before you even read the story, ruining any suspension or mystery the story could have. Sorry, went on a little rant but I have a hard time reading those kinds of stories, so I decided to make my own. So the actual story; A human crash landed onto a alien world where the dominant species are ten feet tall female wolves. Due to Y/N's service history, he was allowed into the vault during the nuclear warhead exchange between America and China, and that's where our story starts.
