New threats arise the deeper they advance into the madness of the Pale City.
Will they make it out alive? Who will they become once this is all over? Will they be the same after insanity takes hold?

Six & Mono flee from the Pale City after encountering its most dangerous inhabitants and destroying the Signal Tower, they find themselves stranded on a beach. With no way of transportation, they take any rescue that they can and find themselves yet again running and fighting for their lives against a new set of monsters in a brand new environment. And let's just say, they might encounter another companion along the way. This is the second fanfiction I've EVER made, so if the quality isn't the best, I would appreciate it if you would write any criticisms or constructive comments for me to read. He smiled warmly up at her, tears spilling over. "I'm sorry," he choked out, and he really was. The last thing he wanted was to leave Six all by herself. He knew loneliness all too well. But at least, this way, she would be able to live her life, far away from the cruelties that threatened them every minute as they had gotten closer to the Signal Tower. After the Signal Man had taken her, he devoted himself to getting her back no matter the cost. There was no price too big to pay. He would give up everything for her. Alternatively: If given the choice, Mono would totally sacrifice himself to save Six, if the circumstances were set up that way. Basically, the ending of Little Nightmares 2, but slightly different. The real ending broke me, and was nothing but angst, so here's angst with a happy ending. Beware of spoilers. Also, the mass of flesh and eyeballs is officially called the Squirming Abyss, so I will be referring to it as such.Complete
