Hajime Hinata, younger brother to Izuru Komakura, and no ultimate talent at all. he is always out shined by his brothers success. but he didn't hate izuru for that. in fact he wanted to be just as good as him. but it's hard to do that when everyone says you can't. bullies and even his own parents. it cut the line when izuru was accepted into hopes peak academy. hajime can only dream of going there. he can only dream if being accepted. he can only dream of being noticed by izuru. But what if he's given the chance to see those dreams come true?
izuru didn't know how but he did it. izuru didn't know what was happening with hajime, his younger brother. izuru met some interesting people along his journey to be a ultimate. he did this to make people happy, even when he couldn't feel it himself. will izuru learn how to feel? will he try to understand hajime? or will he just cast it aside as unimportant?

Hajime Hinata is on a class trip to Jabberwock Island with ultimate students at Hope's peak academy. Although he's with kids from school and would most likely get along with them...he feels a strange awkwardness when around them. There's a catch though, Hajime isn't really like the others; he doesn't have an ultimate. Because of that, he thinks the others might look down on him. But there is one student that looks down on him the most, Nagito Komaeda: the ultimate lucky student. He believes since Hajime doesn't have a talent, he's not valid like everyone else and decides to put him down for something he can't control. Hajime just wants to be friends with everyone, but because this inconvenience he's very insecure about being around the others, and distances himself. Then Kazuichi Souda and Chiaki Nanami decide to include him since they feel bad, they just want him to be happy. Hajime starts to open up a bit after hanging out with them a lot, maybe with this new confidence he can get that one stubborn student to finally like him. Nagito Komaeda and Hajime Hinata had met, only when they were the young age of five. They were friends for about five years, Hinata was the only friend Komaeda was lucky enough to have back then. But Hinata had to move away once they were around eleven, leaving Komaeda and himself in a deep depression. Hajime accidentally forgets about the other, until they coincidentally meet at Hope's Peak. Hinata still doesn't quite remember the other, but, he feels as though the other is much too familiar, while Nagito remembers him clearly and tries to help Hajime remember.
