Richie and Eddie rent a remote, private cabin in order to destress and be together. They're fully prepared the have the time of their lives until the second night when a masked person appears in their yard. The two boys are forced to fight for their lives in order to survive and make it out alive.

Eddie Kaspbrak is the banker's son who can't keep his eyes off of Richie, looking through the window of the bank. When they meet, Eddie refuses to give Richie his name until he "earns it." So Richie vows to earn the window boy's name, no matter what. "Eddie could feel Richie's eyes burning holes in his back, but he didn't turn around, just tensed a bit. He wasn't sure why.
