Sawyer wants nothing more than to get out of dodge as soon as the opportunity presents itself and with only seven months, two weeks, and four days left it couldn't come sooner. That is until he meets Alyssan. Neither expected to meet the other and neither expected the horrendous outcome that arises from it. Alyssan never ran away and she didn't die of any natural causes either. She was murdered and the fact that her killer is still on the loose scares both of them. The fact that the killings started again is even worse. With the killer targeting more girls, she and Sawyer might be the only hope of stopping the deaths.
