Arabella is Topper Thornton's twin sister. She has never been able to socialise with friends other than at school but this summer that all changes...
Topper and their parents are very overprotective of Arabella and she feels very unlucky that all her friends get to leave their houses after school, on the weekends and their free time.
Topper forbids her to hang around with pogues and any other people lower than their class. However Arabella has very different views to her family, so she tries desperately to get to know the famous pogues, Jj, John b, Pope and Kei who isn't really a pogue but much like her in many ways.
