She was known by them as Kya, her name, but not quite. She's the most mysterious of all of them, and the least willing to admit it.
In her mind, she was meant to stay in the shadows. To be undiscovered and manipulative, and work the story- mold it until it is perfect. She was in their minds, reading and controlling their thoughts.
But she has an enemy, one that causes her to reveal herself. And like most, these people aren't welcome to outsiders.
Kya's an outsider with history. They want to know it. But how much about herself is she willing to reveal in order to defeat her greatest enemy?

Tommy, better known as Theseus in the community, is a vigilante who's only goal is to help get rid of crime in his city. Tommy is known in the media for having flexibility and fast movements, similar to a raccoons. His makeshift suit has raccoon ears on the hood, a black mask that goes over his eyes to resemble a raccoon, and a fluffy tail. Sure, a tail is kind of stupid considering someone could grab in to keep him from running, but it adds to his brand. And he's fast, so it doesn't matter. His weapons? A knife, and discs. No, not actual discs. These discs are sort of like Chinese throwing stars, or whatever they're called. They deal damage, and that's what matters. The heroes; Blade, Angel of Death, and Ghost; are always seeking to catch Tommy and arrest him. Tommy is just trying to help the city. He doesn't know why the heroes want him arrested. When Tommy's landlord of the apartment complex he lives in finds out that Tommy isn't actually 18, and is really 15, he calls CPS and gets Tommy taken to a foster home. Tommy can't fight crime from a foster home without the new family finding out, or can he? But what happens when Tommy finds out that his new family is actually the heroes that seek to arrest him day after day? A lie masked by a crown. Once he caught onto the mystery, he couldn't let go. As if he was dragged down by quicksand that clutched onto his very consciousness, or rather than quicksand... vines. On the journey he meets Reverie Epiales, Silaus Blade and the mysterious Lethe. All of whom were pulled together into the unending spiral of a dark mystery. This is my very, very first novel I have ever made. It is 307 pages, and 39 chapters-- 45 in all including prologues+epilogue. Book 2 will come out soon, guys!
