WORLDS Apart

A girl moves halfway across the world with her family from Africa.
She is enrolled into a new school; Hillcrest Academy.

What happens when she meets her meek opposite; handsome, intelligent, athletic, rich, spoiled, bastard asshole of a human being with a vexatious attitude and is clearly oblivious to the fact that the world does not revolve around him.

All she wants is to get through high school with straight A* for her O' Levels and A' Levels.
But what happens when the plan goes all wrong and forbidden romance enters the group chat.

"Africa?" he says with his voice void on any emotion.

'Yes,' I respond clearly irked, 'Is there a problem?' "No, its just how you do not know whom or what you just talked back at," the handsome stranger bit back.

'Look... Boy,' I mocked, 'Last time I checked I didn't sign up to get cast in some chickflick whereas you are the hotshot jock whom every girl swoons over and every guy wishes to be.' 'So I'm sorry YOUR MAJESTY,' I said, my words dripping of toxic sarcasm, 'That your pride is ruined, but I came here, I'm pretty sure to learn, graduate then leave!'

My voice had risen and pitch or two but I continued.

'If I may, I shall take my french leave because unlike some of you getting detention for being tardy is unacceptable.'

'Dzungu,' I muttered to myself in my native language. I briskly walked away from the scene to my next class; English Literature.

Sometimes the mandom is just so annoying.
