"I still remember that night often. Sometimes when I close my eyes, I can see it again. I remember how the sky was clear, how it looked like the stars were raining down on us. How the moon seemed to smile and brightened up the white snow. How bright the night was, almost like it was daytime. I remember my bare feet in the snow. I remember how I looked down from the sky. It looked beautiful. It was terrible. I remember two hands grabbing my shoulders, shaking me awake and telling me to run."
