Mondo Owada and Kiyotaka Ishimaru both got accepted into Hopes Peak academy: a government funded school for talented teens.
They meet on their first day, some inetersting stuff happens and end up having a sleepover togtehre to get to know each other. during their sleepover, something inetersting happens that drifted the two apart a bit. they ignore each other after the incident and never speak to each other again. until a series of unfortunate events happen that get the two closer to each other, as they figure out a dark secret about Hopes Peak.
