The bathroom door opens. You freeze. Taehyung emerges from the bathroom in a cloud of humidity. The towel at his waist is barely a suggestion, knotted carelessly so that it slants downward, baring the sharp lines of his hips. His chest is glazed in droplets, each one catching light before trickling toward the lip of the towel. Water drips from his hair and runs over his shoulders to his torso. He shuffles a few steps into the room, oblivious, rubbing at one eye with the heel of his palm. The gasp is unplanned, a high and bright exclamation that startles both of them into stillness.
