Hmm, IS there a god? I asked myself that constantly" Nina grinned wickedly, face in her hands as her bright hazel eyes stared intently at the wounded male at her feet. "I mean if there was why would he let me and many others suffer?" She said firmly as she stood from her chair and leaned over the male, glaring. He tried backing away, from the woman towering over his injured frame. "what did we do? What did we do to deserve such treatment? To be labeled outcasts! Weird! Crazy! Hmm?" Nina ran her hand through her coarse mane looking at him through frenzied and manic eyes. she saw him scurrying away, and rolled her eyes in annoyance " tsk you are pathetic, you're just like a weak little hare about to be devoured."
"You're a batshit crazy lady and nothing you say will change that!" The man yelled out in fear and anger. Nina brushed off her jacket sleeves and smiled And looked to the man "ah you're right! crazy I am... My mind" she pointed to her skull and looked at him with wide hazel eyes. "it's... diseased. It's twisted and sick! Literally rotting!" Her smile was that of a person truly twisted, she reached into her coat pocket, grabbing her Glock, and aimed it at his pitiful face showing many emotions. Sadness. Anger. Regret. Despair.

Shatterproof
Reaching my hand into the drawer, I felt around until my hand came into contact with the metal hilt. My fingers curled around the handle instinctively. I gripped the handle so hard it hurt. I could feel the tendons in my wrist snap as my knuckles turned white. I couldn't let him do that to her again. I just couldn't. I had to protect her. I couldn't just stand there still and do nothing forever. I had to act. I winced at the slight sound of the blade dragging against the wooden bottom of the drawer. Although it was more like a sibilant hiss, it sounded more like a large grating sound in my ears. My heart was pounding and my ears were ringing.
