I looked up into his brown eyes and knew I had gone too far. "Lan--" I was cut off by him holding his hand up. "I know El, I know," and with that, he stepped away from my body sending chills throughout me. I took a step back from the wall from where I was pressed against. He did things he regrets, and I said things that I regret. As I looked up, feeling overpowering regret, and sorrow for us, he was gone. I slid against the wall and started to cry, things would have been perfect if neither of us gave up, everything we could have had.
