she is a recovering addict trying to find her purpose in life. And all she want is to feel loved.

Cassie is a great cook, and when she gets a job as a cook at rikers island she is ecstatic. Finally she has some sort of independence , and doesn't have to depend on her dad for everything.

jaheim is a prisoner on rikers island trying to stay sane. Being on rikers island is tough , and being in solitary is even tougher. He is trying his hardest to be positive despite being in solitary confinement.

Chemistry is clear , but they can't cross that line.
