When the revolution ends it was decided that so would the games. With outrage among the districts, to avoid another revolution, two very important people in Panem's history decide to give the public what they want. A final game to end all of the horror endured my the districts, to give them peace. A game containing only capital children.
"what hell are you doing?" I scream over the roar of the flames, watching the muscular frame attempt to catch fish from a nearby lake. Standing up from my patch of rotting grass, leaving the pile of leaves I collected under my purple backpack and I saunter over to him, re-asking my question. "Harry, what are you doing?".
I stood a good distance away from him crouched in front the lake, holding a spear in his tensed hands. I noticed that the aqua blue nail polish that coated his fingers previously is now chipped and it slightly upsets me.
While his loose curls blow in the humid wind he chuckles at the look of annoyance plastered on my face. To my amusement, he grips the spear before playfully pointing it at me then dramatically dropping it to the ground. I adore this side of him but it also makes me extremely uneasy as I am unsure of his motives, I make sure to not crack a smile keeping my face stern. The happy, light-hearted expression on his face quickly fades into one of darkness. I wish I could tell what he is thinking.
I've never been good at reading people but Harry in particular is very difficult
He steps closer making me slightly hesitant, although he is without a weapon, so am I, I know that he would easily overpower me if he were to try and kill me. His green eyes begin to wonder across my body before he exhales stopping at my lips. Then making his way uncomfortably close to me we are now sharing body heat, before I am able to step back he leans forward, his lips grazing my ear.

What Are We?

This was nothing but a way for him to deal with the whole Kalen situation. I was just a distraction. He remained completely silent and that was a good enough answer for me. I should have crushed this stupid crush years ago. I should have never let him get this close. " Okay, " I said softly. " I get it, I was just a distraction, a way to deal with what's happening." I had to fight real hard to fight back the tears that were just begging to be let free. He doesn't deserve them, no one does!. " I should have known! " I said feeling like an utter fool. I attempted to push past him but before I could he stepped in front of me and looked me dead in the eyes. Shit, maybe I shouldn't have mentioned Kalen. He kept his eye contact as he slowly got to his knees. He's eyes were watery at this point and the guilt of mentioning Kalen was beginning to eat me up. Shit, shit! " I'm sorry, I shouldn't have..." I said getting to my knees as well. " I don't know how you've been able to over look all the shit I put you through over the years." He said with such a low tone, i don't think he was talking to me. He immediately looked away probably ashamed of himself. " I'm blackened at the heart by all the pain I caused you, so don't apologize I'm only getting what I deserve.
