he was always told that as long as his head was behind the southpaw's right shoulder, he couldn't be hit. he was also told to get a few right hooks in and push on the other's shoulder to get the other to turn away from him, as a counter attack. what a load of crap. he also very distinctly remembers in the back of his mind that his manger was telling him to remember that southpaws have way more experience fighting right handers than he does fighting a southpaw. but here he was, on the ground, with another potentially broken nose and the wind knocked out of him.
