------------- "Why're you staring at me?" I ask teasingly. I hear him letting out a breath, of embarrassment or guilt I don't know. "I may have unintentionally hurt you, on several occasions. I may have done the wrong thing more than once. But despite all of that I still like you, hell if I know I might love you. I've never felt the way I feel about you for anyone else before. I can't stop thinking about you. Your laugh, your smile, your voice. How you manage to pull a joke at a time like this, to how peaceful, and beautiful you look when you're sleeping." I smile. "You okay? Did you hit your head or somethin'?" I tease. "Shut up." ------------------------- Olivia, a 16-year-old girl with a tragic past. Her sister was kidnapped and brutally killed, her father comes up with the brilliant idea of moving. As she's getting settled in school, she meets this mysterious boy, and before she knows it she is dragged into hell. Literally. Figuring out that the kidnapper is connected to the murder of her sister, might be her downfall. Especially when she finds out her big family secret, and the terrifying fact that her classmate, is in fact, a demon. How will she deal with the new turn of events and how her life has been turned completely upside down. Especially when she was convinced that she would only focus on school, something that is now so far down on her list of important things to worry about, that she barely even remembers to show up to class. Bound by fate
Nova disguise as a boy to enter the military school. If she is discovered as a girl, she will be kicked out. She is desperate to hide from trackers who have been following her for a dozen years. No one would think to look for her in an all-male military school. She hides among werewolves and is one of the very few nonshifters at the school. She catches the new instructor's curiosity, and her identity is threatened. He claims to be her mate, but she knows that her kind don't have a mate and desperately tries to avoid him. If he stumbles upon her true identity, she is screwed. "What are you doing?!" growls his highness, ripping the knife from my hands. It tingles as his fingers close around my wrist. Fresh blood flows from the wound, turning his hands red. Deep throaty sounds, rumbling in his chest. "You hurt yourself," he says softly, pain evident in his voice. I look up and frown. "It's just a small cut," I reply, annoyed. None of the other cadets get this kind of attention. Besides, we have to learn this to pass the exam. "Shhh, it's going to be okay," he says, pressing me close. My whole side explodes with sparks. It tickles me. "You have to stop hurt yourself. Why are you even here? How am I going to protect you here?" he asks angrily. "I don't need your protection!" I shout, pushing him away. I get an angry growl back. Quickly I grab another knife and throws it over my shoulder, hitting bulls' eye. He glares at me, and the room has gone completely silent. That's when I discover that I may have gone too far with the insanely possessive highness, even though I'm grateful for the extra lessons he gives me. Then suddenly everyone hurries out of the training area. Leaving me alone with the growling, red eyed alpha. Something didn't feel right. I looked around my room slowly; cautiously; taking everything in and trying not to feel too nervous. Perhaps Lure was in my room right now, watching me, silently laughing to himself. I didn't doubt it. I slipped off my bed and walked around, hugging my waist, and tilted my head. I felt my rough ponytail slide against the back of my neck and over my shoulder as I moved. "Lure?" I hissed, "Lure, are you there?" I wandered around a little, for some reason feeling scared. But why? It was only Lure. He wouldn't hurt me, would he? "Okay, Lure. Quit it. I know it's you. Who else would it-" I stopped, startled, when I heard a strange sound that made me cringe. It was like fingernails being dragged across a chalkboard. I whipped around and came face-to-face with my mirror. Immediately, I saw the difference. Various scratches were displayed across the glass, forming words. It looked as if claws had written the words in the mirror. "Deepest apologies, but it was fun." My Vampire (Book Three)
She got me into this mess. She had to play around and get us both captured. That stupid fucking vampire. My pack will notice that I'm gone. But these men are good at covering my scent. But I know they'll find me. I hear her gasp again and thrash around making her chains jingle around the bars we're both kept in. God knows what they're injecting her with but I'm glad they're not doing the same to me. "Give her the next dosage. She can take it" the older one says and I look away as I see them plunge the needle again into her arm. She screams and an unfamiliar sound comes to my ears. My wolf awakens at the sound as well and I stand to look at her. She's shaking like crazy and gasping as if she could even breath in the first place. It can't be? They shouldn't be able to reverse....my thoughts stop when she sits up and screams as she looks into my eyes. The dark irises I came to know over the past two weeks go from black to blue. It couldn't just back down to these he-man wannabe's after all the BS that they had put me through. My eyes widened as Victor let out a fierce roar and then before my eyes he went from man to beast. It happened so quickly that no one even had a moment to respond to it. He was charging at me from across the room and I was standing frozen with wide eyes as he came at me. The wolf collided with me full force and my body slammed into the ground with a sickeningly loud crack. I felt all my bones snapping and rattling together as I hit the ground. The wolf caged me underneath himself his big sharp teeth snarling inches from my face. I blinked a couple time as I stared into those glowing blue eyes and I felt my heart beating in ears. This was it, I was going to be killed because I couldn't keep my stupid mouth shut and just do what I had been told.Complete
