The Final Chapter (Dean/Castiel)

The end of the world as anyone knew it, was coming.

Chuck Shurley, better known as God by most hunters, has gone postal because he can't get the ending he wanted for both Sam and Dean Winchester, Jack was dead and it didn't seem like he was coming back, and saving the world just seemed that much harder.

When Dean is attacked and hurt beyond just physical injuries by Chuck during a mission to save Eileen, and his soul is damaged, Sam and Castiel have to do everything they can to repair it before it's too late. In the midst of doing so, they also have to deal with the fallout of God going postal all while tracking down a way to stop him.

When the time comes, Dean is going to have to make some sacrifices and he's going to have to make confessions before it's too late.
