Julia Clark has always wanted to break out of her small Colorado town of Gramsby. The idea seems to be fading by the day when a mysterious virus breaks out and starts turning innocent people into the living dead.

With curfew that starts at sundown and a barrage of media coverage for an illness no one can explain, Julia and her newfound friend Akio struggle with a split-second decision that can get them out of their small town- and out of living altogether.
