"I told you once, a long time ago, that you would have to choose which lives to save." Steel eyes flashed in the moonlight. "You choose to sacrifice the ones who have offered themselves up to serve you, the ones that have already decided to die for you. You let me fight instead of the ones who never asked to be a part of this. For the ones whose hands are clean, you save them."

Life and death went hand in hand. There was never one without the other. Amongst all odds, Calista not only had comrades, but she had friends. Friends who had her back just as much as she had theirs', (if not more, at certain times). Trust and faith will be tested as they travel and unravel just how deep the corruption has been allowed to spiral in Kouka Kingdom, and through the haze of trying to remedy that, follow their princess, and save the people, they will have to figure out just where exactly they all stand with each other.
