"How do they know? I mean, why do they know so much about what we did and... what happened to us?" Sayaka curls in on herself, essentially a ball of confusion.
"We don't know. We've learned to ignore the details the longer we've been here." Korekiyo fiddles with his hair, taking a few strands between his fingertips and rubbing idly.
"Do you know where we are?" Sayaka's voice was muffled by her arms.
"Again, we don't know. But, I'm staying hopeful. Someone will come to get us, or maybe we'll wake up someplace normal where everything's okay."

Shuichi -when he is a kid- lives with his parents and his uncle in Japan before they had to move to America, where he left his only childhood friend, Kokichi. Years had passed, and ever since he had moved overseas, Kokichi had made some new friends: Maki and Himiko. Their first high school year only started for them, but the murderous group that was once in America named 'The Despairs' had travelled to Japan, and was followed them was none other than the young detectives Shuichi with his non-biological sibling Tsumugi. They both enrolled in the same high school as Kokichi and his friends and things happened. Now how will this go as Shuichi and Kokichi solve things out while Shuichi's on the road to getting the Despairs to justice? My name is Kokichi. Kokichi Ouma. Student from the Mizanaki High School. I'm 16 but I'm by far the shortest boy in my class. And the weakest too. I guess that explains why I'm always their favorite victim... Kaito Momota and Gonta Gokuhara... I hate them. Every day, they ask me to bring them money. Every day, they ask for even more. Every day, they destroy my bag and hurt me if I dare not have what they asked. They've been racketeering me for so much time I don't even have any of my pocket money left to give them. I have to steal from my parents and to lie to them in order to get what they want and not to get any more bruises than I already have. At home, it's hard to hide my bruises and my injuries, especially to my mom. But I somehow manage with my purple locks. As for healing my injuries, I know how to deal with it. I may have become as good in this than Mikan Tsumiki, the Ultimate Nurse. Then I rewrite my homeworks if they have been destroyed once again by Momota. ... I wish I had a guardian angel... Someone who would protect me from Momota... who would protect me behind the scenes... When I said that prayer out loud, I had no idea... that someone heard me. (Previously titled 'Never Be Back Where We Began') Already interested in Hope's Peak Academy, or more specifically the dark secrets the school had, he already planned to investigate. Getting scouted by the school would make his job so much easier. At least, it should have, however he didn't expect to be involved with one of the dark secrets he was after. Suddenly being thrown into a killing game isn't something anyone expects. Trapped with 15 other students in what was once the school, they're told they must kill one of the others for an escape. Will the secrets and mysteries be uncovered and solved, or will they remain blind to their situation and accept their fates?
