Ranpo can be stubborn, especially when it comes to love. He doesn't like what he can't understand, and a simple feeling that he couldn't deduce can get on his nerves.
Poe on the other hand, accepting his hopeless fate. He's almost as dense as Ranpo, but he's more nervous.
