Blood In The Water: A Tenten Fan Fiction (#3 In Shifting Series)

Reno Klein was a Marine and feared very little. He had all his life been in one scrape after another with his friends, usually of their own makings. He was a "good old Southern boy" and had always loved fishing, hunting, shooting, and fighting. It was only natural that he became a Marine at 17 years old four years before - serving his country with sweat and blood. He was an elite shooter and that was saying something in the Marines, where everyone has a dead eye shot. Yet he was shaken in his spirit, although you wouldn't know by the mask he wore. His sister was dead, drowned while trying to save a kid in the river. His mother, the last of his family, having disappeared not long after. Some believing she went off somewhere and killed herself. He would have investigated but he was balls deep in the deserts of the Middle East and due to the secretiveness of his mission unable to return to the States anytime soon. When the mission goes wrong and all but him have been killed, he is certain that he does not have much time left as he is pinned down and surrounded by enemy fire. Then the incredible happens...
