Kyura J. Heather was a Gargoyle. She and her clan lived in a village called Heather. One day, while Kyu was out exloring, she got lost. When she came back the next day, she found every living thing dead. A mysterious, hooded man turned her into a human child, wiped her memory, and brought her to the Earth to a family, where she was stranded until many years later, when she had a mysterious dream. It felt more like a memory, full of punctures and holes. She came up with a plan, to save the rest of the Gargoyle world in Manhattan. Before she left forever, dear reader, she told me her tale, in a letter she sent me through time, trusting me to carry on her story and memory.

Guardians of the Light (Book 1: Rebirth)
Many centuries ago, an unspoken darkness swept across the land taking all that was light and pure in the world with it. Creatures of this darkness roamed free to spread the darkness wherever they went consuming any trace of light remaining. In order to stop The Darkness from controlling the world, a group of priests took the remaining pieces of light and placed them within the body of two chosen children. They became known as the Children of the Light. Their sacrifice was not in vain, leaving behind spoken words for the next generation of children born with the pure light energy within them. Ronin saw the faces of the new Children of the Light and was tasked by the Elders to track them down and protect them at all costs.The children were both college students and were one male and one female whose names were James Hillman and Sara Danvers..When Ronin went to see he ran into a ghost from his past, Lillian. The story continues on with Ronin seeking answers from the Elders about how a Guardian could come back from the dead.Complet

Ridley was furious and went to search for her and he won't stop til' he finds her and will drag her back with him.
