Destiny Summers is a carefree teenager who has everything going for her.  Head cheerleader, Jock boyfriend, popularity, and great friends. However, her family is a different story.  Her mother April works two jobs to support her family.  Her little brother Justice is just three years old and her stepfather is a drunk who works construction once in a while.  While her mother is working, Destiny often takes on the responsibility of helping with her brother because his father is too drunk to do anything half of the time.  Until one night Destiny's life changes forever.  Will she drown or will she swim up to the surface, breath and take control?
