"Blaze?" He says and I hate it. I hate how he says my name as if it's his. Like he knows it's the only thing I want to hear, him calling out to me, looking at me, focused to me. It's the first time in my life I wanted someone's attention so badly I didn't care how I got it. And that was too dangerous for me to hold onto. "Are you insane or some shit? I could have killed you!" He says and starts to walk towards me. I take a big breath and step back away from him, "s-stop! Axel," I stutter still panting. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. "Don't run from me Blaze it won't go well," he growls reading my thoughts causing me to freeze in my spot. "Do not ever think you can get away from me."Complete

He would probably reject me in the worst possible way he could think of. Or he would use the bond against me. I was already his slave but maybe there was something else that he could do that my innocent mind just couldn't conjure because I wasn't anything like him. I held my humanity close to me as if it would save me in the long run. I refused to be anything like my tormentors and I kept as true to myself as I could. I'm different, I can read and see what people think. Every moment of everyday... it's not normal. I've been this way for too long. Ever since I saw my best friends dad die in front of my own two, once blue eyes. My now gold orbs, seeing the world for what it actually is. Unfortunately, I think that this story will be discontinued. Thank you to everyone who has read it, this just isn't what I'm interested in writing anymore. She had tears in her eyes and was looking at me with disgust. Our eyes locked and it was like the world disappeared. It was her and me. I was to protect her with every fiber in my being and in that moment I want to cherish and comfort her and hurt whoever did this to her. Then it dawned on me. I did this. I hurt my mate. That thought alone made me want so shrivel in a ball and die. We broke eye contact when she quickly got into her car and drove away. She was my mate. A human. I had to make her love me. I have to make her forgive me. All of the hate for her washed away in that moment, that minute, that second. Disclaimer- I wrote this book when I was super naive and didn't know that the abuse written about in this book is unacceptable and not to be tolerated. Also, it's pretty bad writing.
