During his university years, Adrien Agreste took his late father's money and turned to villainy. Cat Noir became a rare sighting, and if you did see him - take it as a bad omen. He was used to getting his way. So when his new roommate goes against him, he is perplexed and exasperated. He became infatuated with her as Cat noir and her tormenter as Adrien.

Aria Garcia moved to Paris to attend university. She is headstrong and smart. When she is pulled from a burning building by an unexpected hero, part of her will always be in his debt. She is tackled with learning how to survive her new persecutor, who seems to particularly relish in her misery.
