Marie just wants to make it through high School being the 'normal' girl.
She has become a master at disguising her own secrets and keeping her feelings to herself. 
But with a troubled home life and rumors starting to spread, staying 'normal' seems almost impossible. 
Struggling to keep up the disguise, will somebody she turns to for help change her life forever?

I first had the idea for this book a long time ago. Hence, why it's set it 2008. 

I've loved researching back to 2008 as I couldn't quite remember where we were with technology etc. But, it's made me realise it was a bit like living in the stone ages, compared to now!
