Ivy Jane Sommers has had a hard summer. A long hard summer. After losing someone close to her, she is lost and untethered. Until her mom gives her a choice: help her run the estate sale for this obscure mansion, or go back to Carolyn, Ivy's out-of-touch therapist. She chooses the mansion (because who wants to be known as the "therapist girl" at school?) and begins the mindnumbingly boring work of sorting clutter into boxes.
