'She's not your wife!' My voice is getting too loud, but I don't care. 'I will be your wife so don't disrespect ME!' I run my hand over my face.
'We can make it work, but you will have to sacrifice.'
Then my wolf prickles. I inhale sharply. 'Wait.'
Taeyong smiles at me slightly, and I feel giddy at the sight.

My face drops, my breath getting harder to supply to my lungs. I almost stutter to finish the sentence. 'Wait, you mean - you mean to still marry her?'
His cocky smile fades, replaced with a set look. 'You will listen to me, and we will do what I decide.'
'No,' I manage again, tears and breath alike threatening to leave. My hands clasp together, but I can't move. I can't leave.
'In five to eight years my prearranged marriage will be no longer be necessary and then you and I can marry officially after a period. This is perfect for you, actually. You can have your career to your heart's content as long as your spare time is here with me, and then when you're tired of it by the end of my first marriage you can take your rightful place in the family.'
