Sophie and Keefe have been friends for years, ever since Sophie arrived at the Lost Cities Elementary School. But in 7th grade, Keefe moves away, and though they've kept in touch, their friendship really isn't the same. Through the loss of her best friend, Sophie learns that she has a crush. On Keefe. And she harbors this secret for years... at least until Keefe moves back, and joins Sophie at Foxfire High. What she doesn't know is that the feeling is mutual, and the two have to maneuver around birthday parties, school, and dances before they can come clean and get the happily ever after they deserve.
