It's not like she wanted to give up ~ she just couldn't bring herself to touch the ball again.

Amethyst Suzuki has always been the odd child. Never got on right, had an odd name. Just always seemed out of the blue.

But she wanted to fit in. She wanted to be like her older brother Mikio. Who was always perfect. The star volleyball player. Got the best grades, and was liked by everyone.

When her brother teaches her volleyball everything goes great. She gets onto the girls volleyball team in her middle school, and finally starts being acknowledged. Until when things hit rock bottom.

Then she never touched the ball again fro the remaining of her third year of Junior high.

She leaves all her friends and goes to Karasuno for high school. Which hasn't been doing so well. Since their girls team doesn't exist anymore and the boys team lost their Manager and started to fall apart.

Join Amethyst in her journey to make sure none of the boys make the same mistake she did. And fixes herself as well.

"You're different from what I expected," she said softly. "How so?" he asked, glancing at her. "I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare." He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that." OR Y/n wakes up in the deadly Squid Game, surrounded by strangers and fighting to survive. What she doesn't know is that the mysterious Frontman is watching her every move through the cameras- and she's caught his attention.
