Sir Reginald Hargreeves, eccentric billionaire and adventurer, resolved to locate and adopt as many of the children as possible.

"I'm calling to let you know that your father... has sadly passed away."

"I know. I-uh-heard it on the news." Belle stammered, trying to use small words.

"Ah, yes. The news was out before I could notify anyone." Pogo laughs half-heartedly, his voice sounding heartbroken from the news of their father's death. "Well, apart from that, the funeral will be held at the academy in a few days. I'm here to inquire if you'll be there?"

There it was. Belle suspected this to come, but she didn't expect it to make her heart sink.

She pondered for a while, not responding to Pogo's question just yet, as thoughts went through her overthinking mind.

Should I go? Of course I should. He was not my biological father, but he was the one who raised me to be the woman I am today. Stronger, powerful, and most importantly intelligent. Belle's mind was a jungle, pondering the pros and cons before she answered the question, thoughtfully.

"I'll be there." She eventually stated, after a long period of contemplation.
