ever since 7 Oliver had wanted to be a medic, it began when he was watching a cop show with his mother and a medic came to take away the body. little Oliver looked up at his mom from where he was cradled in warm arms a said "i wanna be dat guy." his mother looked down at him and replied with a smile "if you try hard enough then maybe you can." Now 22 years later he made it. he was working a saint James hospital in NY as a medic, one of the best some would say, and others only mediocre. to be fair he was new. he had only been there for a couple months and was still learning the ropes when a call came in for a gunshot victim by a downtown bar. of course the only ones free were him and his supervisor so they were called to the scene. well after that nothing was really the same for Oliver Cross
