Denki Kaminaris mother died giving birth to him and his father was never there to begin with. The LOV was targeting his mother for something that happened long ago. After she passed the LOV decided to capture him. After his quirk manifested the league decided he was dangerous, and started to torture him and make him go over his wattage limit, causing him to be in extreme pain for at least 15 minutes since his wattage limit was small and young at the time. This lasted for years up until he was 9 years old when two Pro Heroes Erasure Head and Present Mic rescued him, and soon adopted him. However, when the time comes when Bakugo is the target and is only seconds away from being captured, Midoriya throws himself in the chaos and ends up saving Bakugo, only at the cost of his own safety as he is captured instead. Midoriya is brought back to the League of Villains' hideout and with him there, Shigaraki plans on changing the young boy's mindset and plans to use force against him. When Midoriya isn't able to escape for three years and no one can seem to find him, he begins to lose hope and his wounds only bleed more. Even when he goes back in time with the help of a pro hero's quirk, he is diagnosed with depression and struggles to go on through life. He doesn't feel like himself. He needs someone.
