Rose wishes her life was optional. Often times she feels like every good thing is counter-acted by something terrible. The uneven balance of events in Rose's life makeup the framework of this story.
"Rose's Thorns" is a story about self-discovery. Rose is a teenager who is stuck, looking for an escape. Escape from her parents, school, everything.
This is an ongoing story about her struggles to rise above what's expected. This is a story about love, pain, relief, passion.
"Rose's Thorns" is a riveting and heart-moving read. The realistic nature of the characters makes it easy to relate to their lives. It's easy to find yourself getting sucked into the story as the characters become your friends...enemies...family.
I don't want to give too much away, or anything for that matter. If you want to know more about the story you should read it :). Believe me, I may be bias but it's worth your time.

Rose is the victim of five bullies, her mom is in jail and her foster mother dosent seem to care what happens to her. Lee however always lingerd behind the rest, she never laughed, or mocked, she just watched and tried to reason the girls to stop. She's more inclined to belive it was an act, but somthing happens to make her believe that less and less. Lee dosent want to do this, she wants to make it stop but that's hard to do when Sammi knows too much, when she can easily ruin her life with a single post. However, she dosent know how much longer Rose can keep going until Sammi and the others actually kills Rose. 'Nothings going to be the same when I come back, is it?'
