If you're reading this you're probably a human...and I'm probably long gone. My name is Ivy, and this is the story of my two sisters and I as we run from the disease that killed our village. I'm an outcast, a rare form of my species called a shimmer. My sister, Amy, and my other sister, Pearl, are both younger than me. We're mermaids and I am 17 years old.
