After Shinsou's mother's suicide, he goes to live with his father, who is practically a stranger. Eaten alive by guilt, nightmares and rumors, he finds comfort in chain smoking at the gas station in the middle of the night.

Kaminari is trying his best to hide his family background of gang leaders and drug abusers. So hard he ran away from home at 15 and has been trying to make the ends meet since then. At 17, the only job that fits into his chaotic schedule is the night shift at the gas station where he drinks way too many energy drinks and... meets a strange purple haired boy, who just might make it a little easier to keep on living with a smile on his face.

TW: this story includes mentions and descriptions of suicide, depressive thoughts, drugs and drug abuse, as well as violence and toxic family relationships. (it's not all that dark though, this is a love story after all.)
