Liz Ford seemed like your typical Florida girl, growing up in a small beach town with a family business and troubles. Its just Liz and her Dad now, after her mother and sister mysteriously left. As Liz is growing up as a high school student, she's confused about where her sister is, why the women in her family always leave, and the crazy world around her.
As Liz embarks on her 17th year of life, she's desperate for change and to find a place to be at peace. Thats when her dad breaks the news that they're moving. Not to just any ordinary town, but to Mystic Falls. Where her dad's gun and weapon shop will "flourish" there. She faces a whole new world ahead of her in Mystic Falls.
And she has no clue whats coming.
She's always been the type of girl who isn't interested in having a boyfriend and dependent. She has never fell in love, but a wave of change hits her as she gets caught between two supernatural creatures.
In this story, Liz battles her new life full of supernatural people, family, and of course falling in love with a Salvatore brother- and an original vampire.
