Inside of the world we call Earth is a steady population, mundanes, or humans, would believe the population consisted of humans and only humans; what they don't know is that aside from werewolves, vampires, witches, fae, demons, angels and so many other fairytale creatures are alive, and contribute a large amount to the population, but also within the population is a secret organization- No, I'm not talking FBI, CIA, and all that other crap, I'm talking about the Angeli Mortis, the Angels of Death. A special breed of human that can run faster, jump higher, stalk without a sound, and even dissapear, a few stories refer to them as 'Shadow Hunters' and others refer to them as 'Nephilim', but to the creatures present day, they are the bringers of death. Their job is to kill rouge creatures, and demons, but they also keep all other species in check. They enforce laws to keep the mundades in the shadows of the supernatural world, and they do it well, apart from the various strong believers, to you it probably seems as though these Angeli Mortis are not fair, or that they have quite a bit of work to do, but to Avalyn, slaying demons and offing blood-suckers is just another day in the office.
