NorthWay is a middle school in North Carolina. And in this middle school there's a huge 8th grade dance coming up. Ciara James and her best friend Emily Downing are two of the 8th grade girls that are going to the dance. But the boys Raymond Smith and his crew are the only eligible boys to go to the dance with.
But the problem is that Ciara is holding a grudge and refuses to see reality. Because of this grudge she refuses to talk to Raymond but she also likes him.
