Soleil Goodfort is a slave. She was taken during the siege of Erak by the Lord of Mystvon.
     Circumstances are hard and ruthless in the southern lord's household and she's soon thrown into a situation she can't escape. However, under stress, she retaliates unknowingly in a way that leaves her with no option other than death. 
     In order to escape a brutal and humiliating public execution, she tries to run away. Only to find herself in the arms of the lovely Crown Prince of Thelany, who offers help in return of a sweet but dangerous favour. 
     Dark forces are hovering over the horizon and with her memories starting to return, she finds out that she lives with a dangerous power thrumming through her veins, one that could either destroy the world, or create it again.
