Hidden by the thick vines, Hazel closed her eyes, steadying her breathing. The clack of metal against stone seemed to tear into her skull. The metallic whirring, a sound to never be forgotten. It all bore into her skull. Into her brain. Into her mind.
It was all she would hear in the end.

A girl, light brown hair, silver-blue eyes. Locked in a rising Box which nobody knows where. But the most confusing part? Memories. They were... gone.
Just like everyone else, Hazel wakes up in a cold, empty, rising Box with no memories but her name and what she looked like. Soon enough, after getting accustomed to the Glade's society and order, life seems pretty normal, the only normal. Well, the Glader's version of Normal.
But the peace was shattered when a boy named Thomas rose up in that very same Box.
