Race is in a coma. Spot has never left his side since Race was rushed to a hospital. The doctors say that if Race doesn't wake up soon, they will have no other choice but to declare him dead. Spot can't let that happen. Spot knows that he can get Race to wake up...but how?

This story is complete. I'm still figuring out Wattpad if it says it isn't.

But at the same time he is struggling with his homelife and parents but pushes this away as much as possible. Until it all falls apart at Christmas only to fall together a few months later. Racetrack Higgins is many things: a newsie, a gambler, witty, and smart. And he also wasn't born a boy. He can count the number of people who know that fun fact on one hand. It's a struggle to live as a boy while trying to make sure no one knows where he came from. Luckily, he has Jack to help him--a guy who wasn't born a guy, just like him. And he has Spot, who he may or not have feelings for, and who may or may not have more in common with him than he thinks. But this world is dangerous for people like Race. So he just needs to stand tall, and find his place in this dangerous world. Please, no homophobia, transphobia, profanities, slurs, hate etc. I DON'T OWN ANY OF THESE CHARACTERS. Racetrack Higgens has a soulmate. They had deep, beautiful brown eyes. They didn't have a good living situation, if the dark brown spots that covered his back and slashes over his ribs were anything to go by. They were ambidextrous, and they had been cutting neat lines into their arms since Race was 14. Spot Conlon had a soulmate. They had bright blue eyes and were perfect, Spot was convinced of that. "Jack why's do I have ta come?" Race questions. "Because Racer, your my second which means you have ta come ta meetings and that includes Brooklyn." It's not that Race didn't like Brooklyn, he loved Brooklyn, he even sold his papers in Brooklyn, but the leader of Brooklyn terrified him in many ways. He was terrified of Spot physically and romantically. Race had seen Spot a few times and saw him during the strike, Race had fallen hard for this Brooklyn boy, but so many things could go wrong if Spot or anyone else found out about it. " Ace! Hotshot!" Spot yells. "Be ready by the time Jack Kelly gets here!" Spot yells again. To say the least Spot was nervous, he wasn't nervous of Jack, but he had heard rumors that Jack's second was coming with him. Spot new for a fact that Jack's second was Racetrack Higgins, the boy that Spot lets sell on his turf, the boy that he made laugh in the court room, the boy he had fallen in love with. Of course nobody can know about it, the things that they would do to Spot is the unthinkable. This is also kind of a musical, some of the Newsies will sing songs, some won't. I do not own any Newsie characters except Spike. I do not own any of the songs either. This is A sprace story if you haven't figured that out by now. I try to have two chapters in each week, might be more than that, might be less than that, just depends how my schedule's look. Some chapters are pretty short others are long. Recap from book1: I am Charlotte, I moved in with my farther and his new family. I become close with my step-brother and his best friend. I done a stupid thing, I fell for the best friend and now I had to tell him about my past. I asked Ryan (Step-brothers best friend) to learn me how to street race even though I'm already good at it. I had a brother before and he was becoming the best racer there was but the top racers didn't like it so they pushed him and his car of the bridge and was reported dead. After my brothers death my mother died leaving me with my farther and his family. I am now visiting Ryan in the hospital everyday as he is in a coma because of me. I also had to go to a funeral as my best friend died also because of me. I have people after me but the main person is 'KING' I don't know who he/she is all I know is that there out kill and they wont stop until they find me.Terminé
