Warning- i will likely never update this again, feel free to adopt it. the only reason i'm not deleting this shit is because some people actually enjoyed it.
Abandoned by his parents, Izuku Midoriya makes his own way in life alone, constantly being told he could never be a hero. And for what reason? Because he's quirkless. Something he could never hope to control.
So he was an outcast.
He was useless, a waste, a burden.
And he was also a Vigilante. If he couldn't be a hero, he'd walk the line between good and evil.
He would help others, but at what cost to himself?

So, uh... life's been kinda upside down lately. One day I'm at home with Mom, and the next, I'm stuck living with my dad-yeah, the Yamada Hizashi, better known as Present Mic. Didn't exactly plan for that, but here we are. Still trying to wrap my head around it. Can't say it's all bad, though. Turns out, co-hosting a radio show with your pro hero dad at ungodly hours of the night is a pretty decent distraction from... well, everything else. Honestly, it's kinda fun. The way we go off-script half the time, roasting villains and throwing shade at the news-it's chaotic, but in a good way. Keeps me from thinking too much. Dad's-well, he's loud, dramatic, and somehow a total dork and a hero at the same time. But he's also... warm. Genuine. The kind of guy who makes you feel seen, even when you're trying real hard to blend into the wallpaper. It's weird, having someone actually there. Asking if I've eaten, if I'm sleeping okay, if I wanna vent or just scream into a mic at 2 AM. I guess what I'm saying is, things are messy and confusing, and I have no idea what's gonna happen next. Quirkless doesn't mean useless but because of how quirkless kids are being treated they often end up dead.. Izuku Midoriya is a kid that was born quirkless.
