"Another lonely day in this lonely abode.." sighed Krimson, the ruler of the Shadow world- or well.. more of a second in command. With his lover by his side, life seemed simple, until the current task at hand became more than a handful.
Finding 12 new recruits for a job seemed simple, people would be lining up, right? Wrong. It was a task he dreaded and pushed off until the last minute, even his lover, Vinnie or Cinnamon as he was better known as, urged him to get this done day by day only to hear a groan from Krimson.
Now, on the last day, Krimson must scramble to find 12 fresh teens before the clock strikes midnight and everyone loses their shadows.
Shadows are an important part as to what makes up a person, their shadows are what look out for them, the ones that always have their back and protect them from danger. Losing your shadow would be far from good. The job, you may ask? Why is there a dire need to find these 12 young kids? Well, their job is to make sure that everyone has a shadow to protect them from dangers that lurk within the In Between. Where theres little light and far too much darkness, this is where the Ghouls roam. Would be such a shame to die from the hands of a Ghoul.
But are 12, almost incompetent teens, enough to keep the whole world out of danger from the In Between?
