In a specific case, a gentle soul has spanned countless lives, a different scene each and every time, hoping to stay by the side of the boy with the blue-hilted sword.
Embracing seemingly endless failure, time and time again, she stood tall and store death in the face more often than not. Still, she follows him through the trials he faces, and with every lifetime she swears he becomes more and more aware. The fact they are destined to meet, fulfill their prophecy, even if that meant the unnecessary sacrifice of her. Every time, each a different way, she fell for him in love, and death...
All so he could save the Kingdom. But all he wanted, was for her to be at his side.
He didn't want the timelines to reap with failure any longer.

Connected by a thread of fate, Ghirahim had said. Destined to fight. He wasn't entirely wrong. Six years after the eradication of Demise, that thread pulls Link and Ghirahim together once more, except now they must put their pasts behind them. Soon after this reunion Link is forced back into the role as the Goddess's chosen hero and protector, now with Ghirahim by his side. But, while Ghirahim is slowly dying and Zelda is dealing with her personal troubles, the world is slowly reaching its demise, and Link finds himself unsure if he can stop it.Complete

The story of Ghirahim and Fi continues. Many years have passed since the world flooded and Ganon was sealed beneath the waves. Having no further duties as the Master Sword, Fi is reincarnated and given another life as a human. Ghirahim's situation, however, is complicated. He is alive, but not the same. Can he reawaken Fi's memories, and will she forgive him after everything he's done? Even then, how will their lives continue as they are? The legend of the hero, Link, the Goddess reborn, Zelda, and evil reincarnate, Ganon has been ingrained in the history of Hyrule from its very inception. Link, a young boy clad in green, is always destined to vanquish evil and save Hyrule, however, what if Link was betrayed by those he called allies? Before Hyrule prospered, before Skyloft was created, a hero lived in the land of Hylia, and though his deeds earned him legendary status amongst the peoples of Hylia, there were those who resented the hero. Framed for a crime he did not commit, the young man was cast in chains, forever to be locked away. That is, until the traitor's plot was uncovered. However, years had passed as the hero rotted away in a murky cellar. Could he truly forgive the people their sins? Could he accept their offer to save them once more from the encroaching armies of darkness? Could he take on that mantle once more and be the hero he had forged himself as?
