The blackness was filling her lungs, choking out every bit of light she had in her. She could hardly recognize her own voice, barely realize that the sobbing, broken sound was hers. "No, no, no, this can't- no, no.. " She felt her heart caving in, crushed by the shock and grief that were drowning out all other emotions quickly and sufficiently, leaving behind a pit of disbelief and dismay. The object of her grief was the cold, lifeless formed sprawled in front of her. She was kneeling in the pooled, crimson blossom around the body, looking like a rose in the field of snow. Her hair was black as ebony, and it cascaded around her shoulders in a cloak of darkness against her pale skin as she sobbed into the silent, winter air. Her eyes were as blue as the summer sky, but spilling with tears that she believed would mever end, an eternal sadness.
