Patricia C. Lim has been friends with both humans and supernatural creatures. They have all been friends for years. But she's been forced to leave her friends and go to another country, that only a few people know the real reason behind it. Even her friends don't know the reason why. When she finally comes back, a war has started in the supernatural world, or so called "The Other World", and it is threatening humanity and her friends. Especially when they realize that their own fellow humans are fighting them too for the same reason of saving humanity but in different method. They begin to question if what they're doing is good.

But despite all that is happening, Patricia met someone who turned out to have a great connection to her and her family. After meeting this stranger, she learned a lot about her family's history and their duty that has been kept from her throughout her life. She's just still unsure whether this stranger is actually on her side or not.
